Fairy Tail

Last Updated: Mar 09, 2013

10.00 (excellent) A really interesting anime especially the surroundings and the myterious dragons and their supposed children. One characters strucks me the most though. Its a really good anime with great visual and unlike other animes who creates millions and millions of characters but couldn't give them their own personality Fairy Tail took it further, they have a whole bunch of different characters that play a significant role but still keep them interesting and they have their own personality. Something new to the anime world lately. So far I'll give it a 9.5 since it always keeps me on my toes.

10.00 (excellent) A really great anime. Kept me wanting more and more, it's not the normal basketball game you can just watch in any highschool either. The characters are well developed and each character has their own personality. The creators also went ahead and created rivals for all characters and their own "powers" were somehow the same with the others but before you know it they could either control better than others or they are much better in using it. Although the title of the anime would make you think it will only focus on one character it actually doesnt as it also explains the reason why the mentioned character in the title is a crucial part of the whole anime/per game. I'd give the anime 10/10 just because it kept me occupied for the whole winter break.

9.75 (excellent) This anime live up to it's anime. It wasn't the dull and boring chasing the ghost anime. It was to the point of scarring it's audiences. Great anime and character development. The secrets of each character were slowly disclosed to its audience starting with Mai. My favorite arc would be 'The Doll House, The Bloodstained Labyrinth and The Cursed House'. The ending was pretty crappy, I did not expect an ending like that, when the anime was just pure awesomeness from the beginning and somewhere near the end. Other than that, a must watched anime.

9.50 (excellent) The plot, the characters and the turn of events were unexpected. Though I already knew that Usui and Misaki would end up together, didn't think it would take a long time though. The anime plot is quite unexpected, I mean a girl president and all her assistants are boys, also being the most feared girl in a school and keeping a secret at the same time is quite hard. The sudden change of personality for the three guys was unexpected also. I thought they were going to be Misaki's problem throughout the anime.

Usui just makes me scream :D I can't really complain about his attitude since he carries that mystery aura around him 'my favorite kind of anime guys'.
Misaki is one heck of a different anime character. <3

The supporting characters did their roles well. They weren't forgotten just like in other animes. The anime was created and delivered really well. This anime would benifit a second season or even better a one episode of Usui and Misaki after their highschool years :D

9.50 (excellent) Shinjo Mayu once again delivers a heart-breaking yet hilarious manga that should be on everyone's list of mangas/books to read. If you're looking for Music, Romance & Ecchi then this is something for you :D The art is once again something that should be appreciated. Characters were drawn really well, personalities is also something different :D Watching the anime version wouldn't hurt, but reading the manga is much better as it's very detailed and doesn't skip any moment. -WARNING: AGE 18+ (Again, Aiira is being perverted)-

9.50 (excellent) Amazing anime. The art is amazing. Plot is something different this time, I think this is a first I watched an anime like this or not. This is a much recommended anime, although it hasn't finished airing yet, it's already garnering wide fandom thus I decided to try it out and it's addicting that is for sure. :D

9.25 (very good) A great manga to read. It has it's ups and downs but the humor in it was amazing, even in serious situations Minami Kanan did an amazing job delivering both romance & humor at the same time. The other characters were also featured very well. They weren't forgotten, Minami Kanan also did an amazing job hanging it's readers. The art is completely detailed very well even at the very intimate situations, it was drawn and illustrated to the point that reading the words wasn't necessary. Over all the manga is amazing and I wish it could be turn into an anime.

9.00 (very good) I watched this anime during my 'Twilight' addict days! The time when I was really obsessed with Vampires that I'd probably be happy if I even see one in real life. Now this anime was a really different one from the anime's I watched since the main characters are brother-sister-and best friend type and guess what, they are all in-love with each other, not really in-love but more like addiction. The two guys Kaname and Zero are always head to head to out do each other to get Yuuki's attention. Although Kaname was out to get his little sister back, Yuuki was having the "love" thought with Kaname and Zero was out to protect Yuuki. That was what I understood throughout watching the anime xD

9.00 (very good) This anime has a good spin, but as soon as you think you've figured out what the characters move are, it has another scene stored for you right in the middle. It keeps you on your toes. The story all but revolves around Ayumu's belief on his own power. Although Ayumu denies himself the power to surpass his long lost older brother, it kept him losing a few battles.

The story is a great one, if I say so myself.

9.00 (very good) I didn't like this anime in the beginning because of 'Satan' issue. I'm a Christian and watching these kinds of anime creep me out to no end, but after the second episode, I started to really enjoy it and not pay attention to the whole Satan thing. The summary of the anime is a hooker as well. If a person is decent enough to read and understand the whole meaning of the exorcists thing when your suppose to be a bad guy. ~Woo! total hooker~ for me anyways. So far I'm waiting for more episodes, since it's a killer to wait for the anime and I'm directing my interest on other things. :P

9.00 (very good) Very good development between lovers, if it weren't for the intimate scenes this could have been into a great anime, but oh well. As usual Minami Kanan did an amazing job with the story line and the art itself. Appreciate the characters bold personality. It's a new evolution for Kanan to make the leading girl strong and not weak like her old mangas. I guess she's trying out new stuff and I must say she's quite succeeding in that section. ;D

9.00 (very good) 18+ Really good story. It kept me wanting to read even when it was past 2:00 am in the morning. The plot is almost always seen in Japanese mangas but the way it was written and described was like it was a true story that was told by a real person who experienced the same fate. Though there were no character developments the way secrets were revealed every chapter was thrilling and exciting at the same time.

Ohmi Tomu creates characters that she develops and for the first time in a long time a female character has lead the story. Though the curse has fallen upon the man's family. It is still refreshing that it wasn't too focused on one family at a point. It is an amazing story and is highly recommended.

8.75 (very good) Fushigi Yuugi tells the story of the Priestess of Suzaku and her search for her seven warriors. 8.75 (very good) I have to thanked a very special friend for recommending this anime to me. I was addicted to this anime to tell everyone the truth. It's like crack (am I even allowed to say that) The usual love triangle is incorporated. Although the "love triangle" was not really scene in the anime, if you put your attention to it completely, you'll see that it's not only love triangle, but it seems like all the guys are in-love with Hino (the main character as in the girl.)

8.75 (very good) If your looking for a good-looking and smart boys this is the anime for you! It's all about competition for the first spot. Throughout the anime, the characters did nothing but try and beat the other, which also ended up as being Kei always winning and Hikari going onto second place. It was a fixed position from beginning to end. It is a great anime to watch and a must be recommended anime.

Fushigi Yuugi: Genbu Kaiden

Seen: completely

Last Updated: May 23, 2013

8.75 (very good) The prequel to the Fushigi Yuugi: The Mysterious Play, the manga revolves around how 'the book of the four gods' was brought to Japan and who was the original holder. It tells the story of Takiko Okuda the first priestess to enter the book, she becomes the priestess of Genbu the guardian of the northern country known as Hokkan. There she encounters many problems, not only does she have to gather the seven warriors of Genbu, but she also has to make the people of Hokkan believe that Genbu is 'real' and that she along with the seven warriors can save the northern country of Hokkan. On top of that she also has the war against Kutou behind her, being chased by soldiers of the eastern country (Kutou) and she has to deal with her incurable disease. Uruki/Rimudo also falls in-love with his priestess, not long after Takiko reciprocates the felling, as soon she she summoned Genbu her health turned for the worse, in the end Takiko died with her father helping her. YUU WATASE did an amazing job with this manga, Takiko was not your common 'damsel in distress', she could fight for her own sake and she's head strong. Genbu Kaiden is a much recommended manga, now then only the story of Byakko is left. Overall I fell that this manga is much better and well developed..

8.50 (very good) The summary was already a catcher and thus the anime did not disappoint. Kazuma was banished from his home and the Kannagi Clan. He was born in a family who wields and controls the fire. At a young age Kazuma fought his cousin Ayano for the Enraiha the Kannagi Family emblem and symbol of the family ruler/future head clan. Ayano beat Kazuma thus making him the 'loser' of the clan. What's worse is he is from the Main Family making him and everyone else confuse as to why he cannot control fire, but has the potential to control other elements. Four years later, he comes back and that is when the Kannagi Clan members started getting killed by a Wind Mage. All eyes turned to Kazuma which he denied too many times.

8.50 (very good) Hilarious & Enjoyable. Mayu Shinjo covers Comedy, Romance, Ecchi & Slice of Life all in one manga. The development on the main character was hilarious to the point that reading every translated word was required. The art is also at another level. The sudden change of atmosphere is something that should be also pointed out. Thus this manga is recommended :D -WARNING: AGE 18+- Some things should not be seen by children :D

Midnight Secretary

8.50 (very good) 18+ Another good manga from Ohmi Tomu. Though the main woman character has stayed on one path and had too many mistakes. The anime has a good plot and has a few character developments. Another item to point out is that it has a different creation from the other vampire/human interaction that has been wuite popular over the year (Twilight anyone?) Instead of the forbidden fruit moment, it's more like the family business will be in danger. It's also not the problem of keeping the vampires under covers it is more like how to produce more vampires with the vampire/human interaction that is suppose to be established.
None the less it is still a great manga even with the 18+ moments (Yes! Aiira has been reading materials that are not for young audience :P)

Though the love triangle will always be a part of mangas, the fact that one of the guys falling in love with her was just because of her perfume's (Sakura uses the same perfume as Chika). Still a great manga to read :D

8.00 (good) To be honest the anime started out amazing (amazing couldn't even described it) but along the way the anime fell off its glory. It suddenly had too much focus on just Rukia and Ichigo. I mean what happen to Orihime, Chad and the others? So far the only arc I enjoyed were the ones where the whole Arrancar vs. Shinigami. After the arc the anime completely fell I mean the revelation of Ichigo being half Shinigami was kind of expected but having the powers of hollow and all other character powers in the anime was just outrageous and completely not needed. Finished the anime with a heavy heart just because the next arc sound promising but from what I am hearing (Ichigo once again gained another power) I'm 50/50 about reading the manga.

Last Updated: Aug 18, 2013

8.00 (good) The longest anime I have ever come across. Started watching this in 3rd grade (7-8 years old). It was my favourite anime at the time and is still one of my favourites today. The fact that only a few people discovered Conan's true identity and that Ran can never guess who he really is has been quite entertaining for the past 15+ years. How the criminals come up with their crazy tricks to accomplish their so called mission and the fact that no one ever question the obvious that when Kogorou or Sonoko solves the mystery their mouths do not move or they are always sleeping and does not remember their moment of glory. The manga has been going on for years and years and still keeps me in my toes and the anime has quite develop itself but still with a few loopholes. I'm about 100% sure that when Conan goes back to his Shinichi form permanently all fans of this anime will jump up in joy but then again keep in mind the title of the anime is Detective Conan, so we may never see the light of Shinichi staying permanently again.

Great anime, but due to the characters holding it back will only give it an 8.

The secret around Aika and how she died, Hakaze's isolation and her mysterious "death". Each character kind of relates to one or two Shakespeare character and their tragedy. Good thing about this anime is that they showed a whole bunch of characters in the beginning but decided to focus on the characters that actually has an story to tell and characters who would play a major change/shift.
